These connectors should be available at any electronics store, or perhaps a computer store. It's the same as an IBM joystick connector. * Pin 8 provides +5v to the controller. This is unused in the original stick, but is mandatory for proper use of the pads and new-style sticks. * There are two D pins. While the controller returns low for both pins 9 and 4, only 4 is 'listened' to by the machine.
