NFG Games + GameSX

Several standards exist that allow easy game changing in an arcade cabinet, but as always, there are differences and details that need to be understood. For example, you can put Jambo Safari in a Crazy Taxi cab, but the gear shift signals are routed to different place.

The analogue inputs for most games follow a standard. Steering, accelerator and brake pedals, and analogue joysticks are usually found in the same place for every game.

Monkey Ball uses inverted joystick axes, so that the joystick acts as if it is rotated 180°. To correct this when using a standard Analogue stick, swap the V-Ref and Ground signals to each joystick axis.

If you're making an adaptor cable for this game and others as well, consider adding a 2P2T switch to reverse the V-Ref and Ground.

While most games use a standard for analogue inputs, most racing games use different digital inputs.
