-This info regards different Neo Geo models and the video + RGB output they produce. The quality of your signal is determined by the manufacture date (referenced by serial number). Some models output a very striped RGB signal, some don't. RGB will still look better than composite.

-Note: Changes to increase composite video quality were apparently made starting with version 5, but the quality levels given above reflect only that division, and may not accurately indicate quality within versions 1-4, and 5-7. The older composite video was apparently less colourful, but slightly clearer. Versions 5-7 increased the vividness of the colour, while introducing some moire patterns (banding).
