 If you don't already have an internal HD cable, you'll need to make one. The cable is a daisy-chain cable with two 20(or 26)-pin connectors at one end, a 50-pin connector at the other, and a small LED connector cable coming off the end of the 50-pin connector.

 SASI models will be somewhat limited in terms of what drives can be used. First and foremost you'll need a drive that doesn't require parity (if you don't want to build the parity faker circuit). Even then, you'll run into plenty of drives that just won't work even though they can have their parity disabled.

 You'll really need to install the SxSI driver if you want to use a SCSI drive on the SASI bus. It is believed that there are drives out there that will work without it, but they're certain to be very old, increasingly difficult to find and very small.
