XSIMM6 memory expansion board

XSIMM6 (Six Sim X) is manufactured and sold from 1994 Systems Research Ltd., Tokyo, built-in SIMM memory expansion board, and there XSIMM6c XVICompact dedicated exclusively XSIMM6 XVI. This is due to the different shape and mounting of internal memory XVICompact XVI, and that is its own thing.

XSIMM6 XSIMM6c

These XSIMM (Single In-line Memory Module) is installed in the SIMM modules following the vertical dimension of 30 mm are commercially available. For compatible machines • PC / AT: 9 bit (with parity) 72 pin for Macintosh: 8-bit or 72-pin 4MB, SIMM's 8MB (70ns and there is 60ns, which is OK but, 60ns and the clock up if ones) 2MB of memory XVI by the additional 6MB or 4MB.

Middle of the board as the left picture, the bottom of the SIMM installed, with a dip switch to set the memory in this expansion area. DIP switch settings, proceed as follows.

Ie, or 8MB SIMM in place 6MB, if all four switches to ON, additional capacity is 6MB. (Set the picture above).
